A little about Cambridge Stove Installations;

I (Jamie) am the HETAS installer and have been involved in construction for just over 15 years. I worked for one of the biggest fireplace installers in East Anglia and I decided to set up my business in the industry to offer a more competitive price, along with a start to finish personal feel for each individual customer.

I decided to name by business Cambridge Stove installations, because of catchy abbreviation name CSI, we have some great special offers to start off with and our we hope to hear from you for a FREE no obligation visit to your home or over the phone, to quote you on what ever you require.

In a home visit by myself, I would help you to select the correct products and installation required for your home.

We now have a showroom, which will open in Spring 2020.
We decided on a showroom as the next stage because the market has a lot of false information & poor products which can lead top wrong decisions and choices for consumers within our industry. A showroom felt the natural expansion step for CSI. We have grown year on year since we first started back in 2014.
We promise no price increase on work for the whole of 2020 with our prices having stayed the same since 2018 with no price increases. We may subject to markets have to put our prices up in 2021, however this wont be to cover showroom overheads, our showroom overheads will be paid for by the additional discounts we will get on the products we offer, we choose what we feel was the right location & property to allow us to do this, we shopped around for over a year for the correct property.
We still stand by the fact we are not & will not be pushy sales people.
The showroom short term will be viewing by appointment only along with 2 Saturdays a month. This allows the person in the showroom to be myself or Michael, both of us having vast Fireplace experience/knowledge and not pushy sales people.

Cambridge stove Installations are proud to support the brilliant local charity that is Cambridge Past, Present & Future.

Cambridge Past, Present & Future is a local independent charity that cares for heritage and green spaces. They are currently planting woodland areas totalling 4,000 new trees at Wandlebury and Coton. Planting the trees is only the beginning however, as once the new trees are in the ground they need quite a bit of maintenance in the early years to make sure that they survive otherwise all that effort is for nothing!

CSI are supporting these efforts with a donation for every fireplace purchase to care for new woodlands in Cambridge. This donation will go towards the work that Cambridge Past, Present & Future are doing to protect and manage new woodland which includes tree supports, weed control, strimming, watering in droughts and protection from grazing animals.

We have since the beginning teamed up with Hibbitt & Sons, which are Cambridgeshire’s oldest stone masonry company, with over 130 years’ experience, they are one of the most respected company’s in the stone masonry industry and like ourselves are a family run business from top to bottom.

They are happy for you to visit their workshop & look at the surrounds on display & pick the stone you require for either your surround or your hearth. We will however also have some of there stone on display in our new showroom.

Hibbitt & Sons are happy to design the Surround to your exact requirements and help you through the process from start to finish, any surround is possible in any stone, Hibbitt & Sons will tailor make your unique surround to your specific requirements, forming you a bespoke fireplace surround.

With us being a family owned and run company you will deal directly with me the installer, so there will be no miss understanding or misleading information that you might get from other companies where the surveyor, hasn’t actually done the job himself previously, this can be a big bonus, as you can discuss with myself exactly what you require.

Julian;

Julian is now the longest-serving member of team CSI, he has been with us just over 4 years, employing Julian really helped ease the on site load for myself & Toby, which meant I could concentrate on getting email replies done quicker, along with estimations sent out quicker, all this helped with the continued expansion of CSI.
Julian is an excellent worker, who will work 7am – 8pm if need be, nothing is ever too much for Julian, he always goes that extra mile for CSI and all of it’s customers.
Toby left CSI early 2020 to move on to pastures new we wish Toby all the best, this has allowed Julian to grow even further, who in the last 4 years has grown year on year and become an integral part of the CSI team.

Michael;

Michael is CSI’s newest full-time member, but has worked previously part-time at CSI, helping to manage the business in peak periods.
Michael has a long history of management & customer service in various sectors and helps with the full day-to-day running of CSI, both in the office & helping out on site.
Michael is officially our maintenance division manager as of 30/04/2018 and will ensure all of our new & existing customers are having their fireplaces/flues well maintained each year to ensure first & foremost that they are safe, but also to ensure that everything last as long as it should.
Michael is also Cambridgeshire (correct as of 03/12/2018) Only Sweep Safe Chimney Sweep, which in our opinion is the best Chimney Sweep organisation out there, helping to ensure this industry isn’t overrun with undertrained and under skilled chimney sweeps, out to make a quick buck.
