Hwam is one of Denmark's largest manufacturers of architect-designed, eco-friendly wood-burning stoves, developed and handmade at its own factory in Hørning, in the heart of Denmark. For more than 50 years Hwam has combined Danish design, craftsmanship and technology to create stoves that are as easy to live with as they are beautiful to look at, with a range spanning 13 series and heights from 618mm to 1625mm - freestanding, wall-mounted or modular, with or without side glass, and available with unique stone cladding.

Hwam Autopilot - automatic air control
At the heart of every Hwam stove is Hwam Autopilot, a heat-sensitive spring perfected over more than 40 years. Once the fire is lit, Autopilot automatically regulates the air supply as the temperature in the combustion chamber rises and falls, opening and closing the mechanical air dampers to keep the burn clean and efficient - no adjustment needed. It is standard on every Hwam wood-burning stove and included in the price.
Hwam SmartControl - intelligent, app-controlled heat
For the ultimate in convenience, Hwam SmartControl adjusts the air supply for you: light the fire, add firewood, and SmartControl does the rest. An oxygen meter and temperature sensor monitor the burn while a room sensor keeps the temperature comfortable, and the system sends a message to your smartphone or tablet when it's time to add more wood. SmartControl is an optional add-on available at the time of purchase.

Every Hwam stove is designed and built in Denmark, with clean lines and balanced proportions that suit both contemporary and traditional interiors. Customers can choose from wall-mounted, freestanding or modular models, with or without side glass, and individualise their stove further with a unique stone cladding finish - making it possible to build a genuinely one-of-a-kind wood-burning stove.
